Nissan Kicks Engine & Performance

The 2025 Kicks is replacing the previous 1.6-liter four-cylinder with a more powerful 2.0L four-cylinder, which makes 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque. This increases the horsepower by 20 and the torque by 26 lb-ft. It’s married to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with either front or all-wheel drive available. AWD models get the new Snow mode added to the standard Normal, Sport, and Eco modes. We’re still waiting on confirmed fuel economy numbers, but expect it to land close to the 2024 model year, getting 31 MPG in the city, 36 MPG on the highway, and 33 MPG combined. 2025 Kicks Trim Levels & Design

As mentioned, the Kicks look brand new, inside and out. The two-toned roof is the first thing you’ll notice, but it is complemented by a bold new front and rear fascia with stacked headlights. The interior is well-designed and comfortable, with a flat-bottom steering wheel, zero-gravity seats, and more cargo space. 30 cubic feet are available with the rear row up, increasing to a best-in-class 60 cubic feet when you fold the rear row. The Kicks is bigger in every way this model year, with 1.7 inches more front shoulder room, 1.9 inches more rear shoulder room, and 0.9 inches more knee room. While the most affordable SUV in Nissan’s lineup, the Kicks doesn’t skimp on technology. The dual 12.3-inch screens allow you to connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the available wireless charger lets you stay online at all times.
