Bob Moore Auto Group Donates Nissan Leaf to Francis Tuttle Technology Center

Bob Moore Auto Group is proud to announce the arrival of a new 2020 Nissan Leaf at Francis Tuttle Technology Center Danforth Campus, courtesy of our Bob Moore Nissan dealership. The Nissan Leaf is an all-electric vehicle, giving the students in the Automotive Service Technology Program an opportunity to learn how EVs operate overall and how they are serviced and maintained correctly. Several Service Managers from the Bob Moore Auto Group had a hand in this donation, including Yan Brown of Jaguar Land Rover and Doug Elliot of Subaru, both pictured above. Bob Moore Auto Group is proud to help future technicians get a head start on their careers, as we understand that building strong foundations in our children and young adults is vital for careers that require hands-on skills.
Francis Tuttle Automotive Service Technology Program
Francis Tuttle Technology Center created the Automotive Service Technology Program for those who like working with their hands and understanding machines. The program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation, meaning it prepares graduates to enter the workforce with full knowledge of the latest tools and techniques available in servicing and repairing vehicles. As the US continues to push for an all-electric future, these students will benefit significantly from having the chance to work hands-on with electric vehicles. Bob Moore Auto Group is a member of the Danforth Auto Service program’s advisory committee and plans to continue giving back to future service technicians in the industry.
