Nissan Promises Thrills for Fans During March Madness
March Madness for the NCAA is back, and Nissan is taking part in a big way. The auto manufacturer is an Official Corporate Partner of NCAA Men’s Basketball and the Final Four. As a corporate sponsor, Nissan will showcase the new 2021 Nissan Sentra and the all-new 2021 Nissan Rogue during the tournament.
Nissan has developed a thrilling commercial for the 2021 Sentra with a TV spot packed with action. Labeled “The Chase”, this commercial showcases the sedan following a runaway basketball as it bounces its way along city streets and scenic roadways all the way to Indianapolis, which is the site of the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. Fans will see FaZe Clan, which is the eSport partner for Nissan.
A second TV spot features the 2021 Nissan Rogue, which will air during the tournament games, starting with the Tip-Off pregame show sponsored by Nissan. It will be an introduction to the all-new model, which has been revamped for this model year.
Along with showcasing new models, Nissan is getting fans involved. The manufacturer has partnered with CBS Sports to offer an online bracket challenge. As the presenting sponsor of March Madness 360 on the CBS network, Nissan will provide fans with expert analysis for the tournament. The 2021 Rogue will be displayed on the Nissan Fan Cave online as well for an up-close look.
The online bracket challenge isn’t just a way to show your predictions for winners. It’s a chance to wint the new 2021 Rogue and get tickets to the 2022 Final Four. Participants have two options. They can build their own brackets, or they can choose Auto Thrill. Auto Thrill allows the brackets to be filled based on specific attributes of Nissan models, which includes the Rogue, the 2021 Armada, and the 2021 GT-R.
Select fans will be given another special opportunity – one they won’t forget. They can be part of the Nissan Bracket Engineer, which is a virtual call with Kenny “The Jet” Smith, a former pro basketball player and sports commentator. He will provide insights into the game and tips to help them make the picks.
The 2021 Nissan Rogue will also be part of the Nissan’s Trick Shot Shoot-out, which has Nate Robinson and Maxwell Pearce competing. Robinson is a three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion while Pearce is a Harlem Globetrotter with mad skills. The Rogue will be integrated into all the trick shots and fans can vote for the one they like the best.
